A 12 year old boy from Wales made his debut on Britain's Got Talent, and again this writer is amazed about the talent that exist in todays world. Shaheen Jafargholi, from Swansea, Wales, said he had to persuade his mother he wasn't too young to take part in the audition. This little guy, has a grown up voice, and is reminiscent of the once infamous Michael Jackson of the Jackson Five when Michael Jackson was a young lad. He blew this writers sox's off with his wide range of vocals.

He was almost booted off by Simon, when he was asked what he was going to sing, Shaheen answered, "Amy Winhouse's song Valerie", Simon told him to go ahead, and when he started singing, the audience loved it, but Simon held up his hand, and stopped the song. "You've got this all wrong" Simon said, and continued, "What else do you sing?" Shaheen replied "Who's Loving You by Michael Jackson", Simon asked if the boy wanted to "Have a go at it" the boy replied, "Yes" and history was made! Wowing the crowds: Shaheen Jafargholi, 12, stunned the judges and the audience with his rendition of Michael Jackson's Who's Loving You on Britain's Got Talent (Thanks to ITV for both pictures)

This writer experienced my infamous "Goose Bumps" that I did with Susan Boyle and Shaheen was phenomenal! He not only shocked the judges, but also received a standing ovation from the audience as he wrapped up his performance and during his song. I had flashbacks of the young Michael Jackson of long ago, when Michael was just a young boy, I think that this young man is going to go really far in the industry, and I look forward to that. His mother Karen, who is Shaheen's biggest fan, was in the wings shaking as she watch her son get interrupted by Simon, and everyone else was in shock as well, even I. I thought that the boy was doing just fine with the song "Valerie". (But it is this writer's opinion, that although the boy's version was great, it was not the style that Simon was looking for from a boy of Shaheen Jafargholi's age). I have to agree with Simon. Although I do not agree with everything Simon says, he was right about interrupting the boys performance, and absolutely bring out the best in the young man.

Standing ovation from judges: Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell rose to their feet after Shaheen's performance. Amanda said he gave her goosebumps, and there was something you don't see to often from Simon Cowell, it was a standing ovation Wow!!

I predict that you will be seeing allot of this young man, as he has won the hearts of at least 13 million viewers on YouTube at the time I watched his performance. I suspect a recording contract from Simon Cowell, and the latest that I have heard, and read, is that Shaheen's performance is the greatest performance in his age group, of this year so far. Some say that he is Susan Boyle's competition this year, but what I say is that they are in a category of their own. They are both winners, and will be offered recording contracts, if not by Simon Cowell, by someone else. I wish them both God's speed, and much success for their talents.they have earned it. As a footnote, Shaheen is no stranger to show biz, has already played a boy with incurable hiccups on Casualty and the child of a crazed gunwielding dad on Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood. At the age of seven, he was due to star in a crisp ad with Gary Lineker - until it was scrapped at the last minute, but he had made it through the audition. I hope he goes far in the industry, he has worked hard for a 12 year old to get there. Good luck Shaheen.
