The funny thing about writing is you can say and express your thoughts, aspirations, and feelings pretty much any way you want to say it. Will folks read it? We can only hope so. I know that most of us on SearchWarp stick to mostly what we know, which seems to be the case of most authors. I myself love to venture out, and research and write about the things that folks can identify with. As writers, we all know its all about the title, what will catch your eye, what will draw you into my web of thoughts and feelings, even experiences?

Writing is my way of self-expression, whether it be thought provoking, or happy thoughts or even anger. It's a gateway of release of my built up thoughts that seem to overflow out of my brain. I have belonged to several writers' sites, and most of them consist of those that would love to write about current events, politics, and religion, not to mention their creativity in poetry and self-expression. The great things about poets are their ability of having us "See" and "experience" what they are writing about. Every time David P. writes a new poem, you wonder what experience you are going to experience, as he is full of surprises. I myself love to write poetry as well.

Some of the writer's communities that I have experienced vary from kind words of wisdom, to very aggressive critiquing. There are always the regulars, and those that come and go. I ask myself from time to time, why do I write? What do I hope to gain? Do I need to express myself that much? Probably not, but I think it is the thrill of one day being published. Is it to help others? Maybe, is it to just give your opinion? Perhaps. But the reason that I write is because I love the ability of writing from the heart. I am not really a "Clinical" writer, one that sticks to one subject. In writing terms, I could be called "A Jack Of All Trades" writing about anything and everything. That is why I call my segments "Life's Little Hiccups".

All in all, I think we all love to write, which is why we are here. What drives you? Why must you write? Are you driven by the desire to one day being published? I for one write just because I am compelled to. Sure, I will be honest and say that one-day, I would love to complete a book. I love to write, however, I do not profess to be a professional writer, but I do love to write. That is the reason why you should join SearchWarp, there are no politics here, only the ones we write about. We don't judge your writing, we read it, we only give our thoughts on what you have written, not to criticize. So hurry up and join, we would love to see what's on your mind!! Good article and I hope it will encourage others to join and start writing. (and thanks for mentioning my name again!) I'm really getting behind on my reading and commenting. My job and extra-curricular activities is eating up my time, but I'll be back and try to catch up soon.
