Okay, it's that time again, as promised, this is part II of Halsey's Weekly Review. This is about why, I want to be like all of my favorite writers, my fans that I have selected to be a part of their fan club! I am not critiquing anyone; rest assured, I just want to write about those who inspire me and is to be considered a tribute to them. I will do this at least once a week, because it is impossible to write about everyone I want to write like, all in one week, so I will break it up in parts. I will call this Part II. I love all of my favorite writers, and as always, I wish to tell them "Well Done"! Stay tuned for Part III
My Heroes, whom I hope to learn from in no particular order: Let's begin with Mr. Joel Hendon. I love Joel's articles because of the versatility of them. There is never an article remotely alike, his style, and innate ability to write just about anything, and is always well researched, is well. uncanny!! I have seen this man write about appliances, to politics. He has written about Russian Pancake Eating Contest Winner, Loses In Death , to Climate Change Problem Switches To Global Cooling , All the way to his latest article, Is Obama To Replace UN With Expanded NATO? Now that is what I call, versatility in writing! Everything is well researched, and documented. Joel's articles are always packed with good information, as well as great mixture of "Reads", and Joel, You Inspire me.
Then we have Laura Trahan! Are you looking for comedy? How about versatility in subject matter? Laura has the ability to make me start laughing BEFORE I read her articles! How does she do that? It's her comedy that keeps me going. She can tell you that about the Five Reasons A New Puppy Is Not Like Having A Baby , or: about Thirty Three Things I Love About My Husband , NOTE:, not 34, or 36, you know, as in "whole numbers", no. 33 Things!! Hahahaha, she is so funny! Up to and including her most recent article Random Thoughts On A Rainy Day ! All of her articles are great and somewhere in them, you will find her humor, she never ceases to amaze me. Laura, you inspire me.
How about our very own Sandra E. Graham? She is in class of her own! As I read her articles, I see lots of passion and heart in what she has to write about. Articles are always interesting, and informative. Her unique talent of keeping you fixed to reading her articles is how she grabs you from the very beginning, and holds your interest to the very end. She does it with me all the time. From her humorous Vibram FivefingerToe Shoes-Just When We Thought Nothing New Could Be Discovered , to her Following the Bread Crumbs---Where is Your Stimulus Money Going? Just as an example, from humor to politics, she has it all. Her most recent being Meeting People on the Internet---Is it Safe? What is Your Opinion? Is packed full of good advice, and is a very informative read, I would encourage you to check out her work. Sandra, you inspire me.
I always look forward to reading article composed by Val Silver She is a breath of fresh air, and tells us how to keep ourselves healthy, both mentally and spiritually, as well as physically, but that is not the only thing she writes about, not at all, she also has written articles from A Second Chance: Is There Someone You Need to Sit With? Definitely a worthwhile read, as well as Valentines Day: Give the Gift of Heart Healthy, Feel Good Chocolate , yum. Make sure you stop by and read her latest Nurture Your Spirit: Create a Sacred Space , I did, and it a very well written article about sacred spaces in your home, did you know you had one? I do. Val, You inspire me.
One of my favorites, among others, is our very own Susan Thom. I am so glad that I have her on my fan list, she has been an inspiration to me, especially with her latest article I Raised A Son, But He Became A Man Alone . You guys have to read this heartfelt written article. I will admit like a man, (whispering hereI cried), a 62-year-old cowboy, and I cried. You will to, it will pull on your heart strings to read this article, which by the way, many of us will be able to identify with. She has also written other fantastic articles that are so sincere, and honest. I am humbled by her honesty in her articles. Some of my favorites being The Grass Is Still Green , and We Must Experience Our Own Humility . If you trust this writer (me), please read these articles, as they will hold your attention, and are heartfelt. Susan, you inspire me.
Another comedian is that work of Myla Madson, I start laughing the minute I see her name!!! What a character this woman is, and she has a gift, that should be expounded in a book of life's little happenings or hiccups, as I choose to call them., I really don't think I have missed any of her articles since I have been on SearchWarp. She has been great from many, many laughs, and it comes so natural to herarticles like Virginia Woman Wins Mother of the Year Award in Landslide Victory , and The Ex Got The Kids a Termite Detection Dog For Christmas! , (did you know there was such a thing)? And her latest being No, Ms. Madson, An Estimate of Your Daughter's Age Just Will Not Do! , and I firmly believe that this could be put into a Broadway production. Her humor, has brought me up, when I am somewhat "Hum drum", and has made me hysterically laugh, and if you believe like I do, that to laugh, is to heal, then she is a must read. Myla, you inspire me.
I love you all. Your pal, and fan, and friend in pen..Gary.
