If You Had To Write About A Specialized Field, What Would it Be?

All Season Karaoke and D.J.

If I had to write about something that I know about, I think it would be "Life's Little Hiccups". Those everyday things in life that we can all identify with. Or, if it was really specialized, it would be of course, Entertainment, after all, I am a DJ/KJ, Actor, Singer and Stunt man. Want to know ways to break into the business? I can give you tips on that. You want a critic? I can do that, you want to know about schools available for an acting career? I can tell you what to look for, as well as what to watch out for. Do you have a child that you would like to see get a audition for a TV Series, or a local play, or even theater or a commercial? I can tell you what you need to do. How about Stunt School, where should you go, or a member of your family? I can tell you that. That is what I know.

How about how to become a DJ? That is a great thing to do, and you can earn great money doing it, if you do it right! I can give you tips on that. How about a KJ (Karaoke Jockey), I can suggest to you the best places to do business with, how to equip yourself with great equipment, at the lowest possible prices. I can give you tips on that. How about contracts, how should they be written, and what should they include to protect both you and your equipment? I can tell you that. This is done with years of experience. How to land a contract with a bar, a hotel, a mobile home park, or your local Elks club or VA? What prices to charge that is typical for most entertainers or DJ's, across the board, I can let you know that. How should you advertise, get yourself out there, exposure. What to let your client know in regards to how to advertise that they will be "Featuring You"? I can tell you about that. Where can you earn the best money, private parties, or contracts with bars, or corporations like IBM Club, and all of the Fortune 500 companies? I can give you advice on that.

That is what I would specialize in, as I own my own entertainment company, and have been there, and done that. Since this is something I love to do. I would do this for free. No charges, nada. I just want to help folks to get into a very competitive business, with the least amount of risk, and how to take the "risk" out of what you want to do. This is not a solicitation for business, as I own my own, I also have a regular job, and if one isn't paying, the other one is!!! lol. Plus I am retired, and I just like to do this for a hobby. I definitely would write about what I know about, and that is entertainment. It's what I know, and I am licensed to do it.

So, what would I write about if asked to write on a specific topic, it would be the above, How about you? Some of you already "specialize" in different topics, "Love", Relationships, Nutrition, Politics, Religion, Fashion, Make-Up? I would love to know what it is that you would love to write about....what specialized field would you choose? Interesting question, don't you think?

I enjoy trying to help people build up their self esteem so they may learn to live at a higher level. Trying to put it on paper is a whole new challenge.

That is a great thing to write about Linda, and lots of folks can use that kind of support and wisdom, what a honorable thing to write about. I'm sure that it is easier said than done, but if anyone could do it, it's a person like you with a passion to help others.......Great thing to read about, now I challenge you to write something on the subject, and let me know when you do, as I wouldl love to comment on it......Your pal in pen.........Gary.......thanks so much for your comment......

Well, at one time I could write about Travel, as I was once a Travel Agent (6 years), then later an Airline Ticket Agent (26 years), but that industry changes, it seems, on a daily basis, and I have been out of the loop now for over three years. My latest gig is the Funeral Service industry, but who wants to hear about that? It is certainly not a "take your child to work" type of job. So I'll just write poetry; that's what I really love to do.

David, I totally agree, that is what you should write about....if you stopped writing poetry, then whose poetry would I read? Egar Allan Poe? Your are right up there in that league as far as I am concerned, even better!! You could also give tips and style's of the how to's? of writing poetry, although I guess that would be pretty difficult, because your poetry comes from the heart and how do you explain that?? I think you are right.....that is what you should write about. Although, you could give tips on the best way, and least expensive way to plan for a funeral. I could have used that type of advice when my mom passed away....and we all eventually will meet that same end.....you don't have to take folks to the parlor, but you can sure let them know how to handle it.....true? I really love your poetry.........Thanks again for writing this comment, it means allot comming from you......your pal, and friend in pen, and fan.........Gary

Ken, I guess one can specialize in nothing...is nothing something to specialize in? I dunno.....but that is a thought. Seinfeld is one of a kind....lol......I reckon HE could specialize in nothing, lol, I think you know to much tho, you have to speicalize in something, I would assume it would be medical? hee..hee..hee....Thank you for your wonderful comment, you always make me laugh out loud, my wife thinks I'm going crazy because I laugh randomly...so she thinks....hahahaahahaha, Thanks again, your pal, and friend in pen.....Gary
