A friend had asked me the other day, because I sent out a invitation to join SearchWarp, and was telling everybody how there is something for everyone. There is comedy, politics, religion, and all sorts of articles from "Soup To Nuts"! Then he asked me an interesting question, when I had mentioned that he could also write, and that I would be his "fan", he asked me "What is a fan, and what does a fan do for you"? Well, naturally this got me thinking. I told him that a fan, was like that of a "Singer", the fan loves the music, loves the entertainer, and goes out and buys their CD's to support their fan so they can keep singing. It is also like a favorite sport, or better still, a favorite player, you join their fan club, same as the singer or musician, and support them. As a writer, we support each other and offer encouragement, and read each others articles, short stories, poems etc., so that they may become better writers, or that WE may become better writers ourselves. It is just as important to read short stories: or articles, as it is to write.
That said, I made a personal commitment to myself, to not only write on a regular basis, but to also read all of my fans work, at least once a week. That is the least I could do for my fans being a fan….but then….as I read my fans work every week, I became addicted to their work, and to what they were writing. I would like to personally thank all of my fans to date that have that have joined my fan club, or who I find interesting (So far) I'm sure there will be more!. I would like to acknowledge who they are in no particular order and thank them for their support, and wonderful stories and articles, I would like to thank;

He is the guy you want to know when you have problems with the site, or he even gives computer insights as to how to fix a virus if you have one, and he's great at it. I really like Bruce, because it is his wonderful "Smiley Face" that greets you to SearchWarp, and makes you feel right at home. Bruce is what makes SearchWarp what it is technically, and of course it's all the writers and columnist that make up the rest. I love SearchWarp, and the family that we have here. I, along with the rest of you Thank Bruce for his wisdom and insite. His last article is called "Is it Time to Kill Your Blog"? He also provides a link where you can read an article called "Kill Your Blog" by Paul Boutin". Very interesting stuff in that article, and I would encourage everyone to read it…. Thanks Bruce for your wisdom and support.

Wonderful read, and chuck full of good info and advice…by the way, I always take the short tunnel with a light at the end of it….now you folks will have to read the article to know what I'm talking about…are you up for the challenge…?
Teresa Ortiz: Our Teresa Ortiz, is also another talented writer that gives us the prayers and words of the Lord, she is on a mission, and a great one at that…her most recent and well written article (not to mention hilarious), is " On Living in Oregon – Words of Wisdom by Jeff Foxworthy" This is a must read!! It is hilarious and I was laughing all the way through it, I loved it Teresa!!!!
Ronyae: Then we have our wonderful Ronyae, who takes us on an adventure of the African American Museum! I read this and felt like I was right there with her, what a wonderful storyteller she is, and I really enjoyed her most recent article "Celebrating Black History and Love Month Through Knowledge: A Review of the African American Museum". Did you know you can have several different steer meats in one package of hamburger, did you know that? I didn't! I know I will be picking my own round steak from now on and having the butcher grind it up into hamburger! Thanks Thom.
Jean Horst: Then there is our very own Jean Horst, wonderful writer, and wonderful insight as to what she wants her children to know, as told about in her latest article "Things I Want My Kids To Know About Life" This is a great article to read, and opened my eyes to what I knew about, but never thought about, it's a mind stimulator.
Sandra E. Graham: Ah, our Sandra E. Graham, she is busy thawing out in Arkansas, keeping busy trying to get their lives back together after the horrific ice storms they had pass through her state. You can read about it in her articles, and her latest article is "The New York Post's Political Cartoon Paradox". Which is a wonderful article that is a good read….as usual, I agree with her assessment of the Cartoon.
Jennifer Halsey: I would like to say to Jennifer that I really appreciate her support, and that I love her comments. She is my daughter-in-law, and I love her to death, she is always reviewing my work, and I hope if she reviews yours, you will encourage her to write as well…. Love you Jennifer, hug the boys for me, and tell my son I love him!! (and to read my articles)!! Ha ha!
Christine Akiteng: Christine Akiteng An Internationally renowned Sexual Confidence/Dating Coach, she is a dazzling icon and a powerful testimony of a merging of ancient and modern cultures. She has a very interesting article titled "Face It - He Is Crazy About You, Too"! It's also a must read, (I like the note her boyfriend left under her pillow, you have to read it, now that your curious)!!! Born and raised among the NgiKarimojong (a.k.a. Karamojong) in Africa, I consider her my wonderful and intelligent African Connection, and dear friend!

Cheryl Janecky: Another great and informative writer is Cheryl Janecky. She has health tips that we should all heed and follow. I just read her most recent article called "Avoid a Major Killer: Snack Your Way to a Healthy Heart with Almonds"! Who would have thought that Almonds could help the heart…if there are heart patients out there, or those who suffer from heart disease, I would "heartedly recommend" this article to help your heart and overall health…Great job Cheryl!!
Mogama: Mogama is one of the most politically correct people that I have read. His insight and intelligence supercedes that of our elected government officials. In his latest article "From Credit Culture to Savings Society: Can You Afford Not to Make the Transition"? I recommended that he should run for President Obama's Economic Advisor, he would make a good one, You have got to read his way of putting our economy into perspective of a house that has been hit by an earthquake…I'm not going to give it away, you must read it!!! I would highly recommend this read, (and watch the You Tube video link he provided to see these amazing little "Water Bears)", it's simply amazing what they can withstand! Have you ever heard of them, I haven't!! Thanks for proving my point that I am never to old to learn anything.
Robert Melaccio: Robert Melaccio, Sr. gives his viewpoints of politics and "Leadership Behavior" in an accurate, and well-researched and informed manner, and exposes the essence of misrepresentation of some of our leaders in truth. Sometimes it is the truth that some may not like to hear, but in any event, it's truth that Robert represents in this writers opinion, lots of facts, and no fiction, and I really liked his last (out of many) article called "Good People Pray For the Losers". Thanks Robert, I will keep on reading and keep on praying….
Gregory Akerman: There is my "thought provoking" buddy Gregory Akerman, he is always testing our strengths and knowledge in all that he writes. She also advises schools and Universities through her consultancy, and also helps people overcome anxiety and panic attacks, (particularly when public speaking). Her latest article is called "Victoria's Worst Ever Bushfires Put Everything In Perspective". This is a well-put together article showing pictures of the Victoria's Brushfires, which have claimed over 200 lives. It is well documented and well done. A great read for sure, and my prayers go out to all those families. Good job Dr. Kavanagh!!
Barbara Clark: Barbara Clark has the ability to write just about anything with wisdom, and heart. She has written about "Loving Myself In 2009", "Two, Four, Six, Eight" reminiscent of days gone by with her extended family during Thanksgiving, when she was attending college in Spain, and encouraged us to contact our local colleges to not forget the students in college during Thanksgiving, great read. Her latest article which I found very interesting because I never thought about it before is titled "Why Do You Eat? A Multiple Choice Test Question". Very thought provoking, see what you think, and read her new article!
David, the honor is all mine my friend. Your work is impecable!! I can learn a few things from you!! With your poetry, I think they had you in mind with that saying "Poetry in Motion". Because you can really write it my friend...I'm always scratchin' my head wonderin', how in the heck does he do that. It is the most natural thing with you and you have truly been blessed with this gift. I'm glad you are using it. I look forward to more my friend...Thanks for reading this little tribute...your friend in pen....Gary.
Well Gary you hit the nail on the head with what you write about each individual Searchwarp author you have listed. Although I looked for myself on your list - something told me that you couldn`t possibly name me because of the niche I am involved with. (lol) This is okay Gary just keep on writing because I enjoy your articles regardless. I am glad your settling into the searchwarp community - enjoy the ride.KacyHiya Kacy, I am so sorry that your name is not on the list. I figured that once I hear from folks, and they let themselves be know, then I can read your articles and join your fan base, so I will go and review you work, and become a fan, for me, that is how it works. Now that I know your there...this will be updated periodically. I look forward to becoming your fan....and look forward to reading your works...I want to thank you for leaving such a gracious comment...and thanks for reading it...I know it's getting long...and if I'm lucky....I will become fans of wonderful folks like you!!! Your friend in pen.....Gary.....again, thanks for leaving the comment so I can go review your work!!!!
I can't even begin to imagine the time and effort invested in the writing of this article. Well done ol' boy. I realise I can't always be first on your list (what would your wife start to think, huh) but I did get the biggest use of a font size!I remember when I first started submitting articles here at SearchWarp. It was entirely marketing geared until I started actually getting comments from some of the wonderful people around here. You just don't get that at other online article submission sites. I rarely submit commercial pieces here anymore, even though I took a hit with online earnings, I found there was an ever better value for my time and that was the interaction with fellow writers.I so wish I had the necessary time in each day to read and comment on all the amazing folks I've fell in love with around here and it is so important to give your fans feedback. A lot of people write for the pure enjoyment of it with no focus on monetizing their articles, as you have decided to do and your time is being rewarded by the growing fan base and popularity ratings. keep it up Gary, I can never see my name in 16 pt. font enough. lolMylaPS. I did notice my mention was the only one without an active link to the article you highlight. Somtimes, when someone acts indiferently towards another to hide their true feelings for them, they make it more apparent as you have done by not linking to my article of their true infatuation. I'm sure other writers have picked up on this and they know I'm your favorite fan, but then again, someone has to be so you need not single me out by pretending I don't matter as much to you as I actually do. Fix my link Gary or i will release the wrath of Myla on you! Just kidding, you know me, I like to mess with you becasue you are such an incredibly good sport about it! lolMyla, Myla, Myla, how did I know you would come up with something like that? I knew you would notice that you could not always be on the top of my list....then again, its hard to be when everybody is my favorites....you all have your own devine skills, and I think you should have your own T.V. comedy show, Lucille Ball had nothing on you...!!! You are both wonderful comedians...and by the way, I noticed that your comment back was the longest? Could it be, that I'm Your Favorite??hahahahhahahahaha!!! You know I am joking of course...There is just to much talent out here to have a favorite, because your all my favorites, hence the term fan. Although your name was "Up In Lights" so to speak. And yes, you are full of mischief, and I never know what is going to be in your article....you are chuck full of surprises...so where's the book? You know, the one your gonna write? Let me know, and seriously.....hahahahhahahahhaha ........ never mind, I can be serious with you!!!! I really appreciate your comments, I love the wit!! Your fan, and friend in pen.....Gary.......(your such a nut you goober)!!
Hi Gary, Thanks for remembering. For an old coot like me, you are a breath of fresh air. I get up feeling grumpy, but then I just go read some of your comments to me and they make my day.I suspect you will very soon have the highest fan roster of any on Searchwarp. And you deserve it. I have never read a sour note written by you. As Barnabas, in the Bible, was a comforter and peace maker, you are the same to Searchwarp. Keep up the good work and we'll all be happier for it. Your "friend in pen"!JoelJoel, thank you so much for reading my little tribute to my favorite writers, and the ones that put me on their fan list...I take the term in the literal sense, and it is much appreciated. The only reason why I join a persons fan club, is the LOVE of their work.....I love to read it, and I'm addicted!! You bring me so much knowledge and information, that my experiences with your articles is the fact that I always learn something. And that is something that money can't buy, and to be compared with "Barnabas" is one of the most flattering things anyone has ever said to me....and I thank you for that my friend. I would also like to thank you for your articles, and keep them coming, and I will read...Thanks again for commenting, and being a fan, and wonderful writer......Your fan, and friend in Pen.......Gary.
Cor this is rather fabulous, thanks Gary! Did you know Gary another great way to get yourself traffic is to have links on related sites to your site. I shall add your testimonial here with a link to your website on my website testimonials page for example.Meanwhile in testimony to you, you are a very talented writer, informative and amusing and of course flattery will get you anywhere...keep it up!!Wow CB, I didn't know you could do that about the website thing, that is so cool, and I hope you know what I said about you is from the heart. I love your work, and will continue to be your great fan....you have me hooked in your articles...I am so addicted to reading all of my favorite talents out here on this site, it has done wonders for me....Psssss, (whispering) I think my wife probably thinks I'm nuts because when I read some of these articles I just start laughing out loud, of course she laughs because I laugh....it's kind of infectous....I told her she should start reading SearchWarp, its far better that a depressing newspaper!!! Thanks a bunch for the tip, and thanks for your great comment......Cheers, your fan and friend in pen....Gary.
I Made the list!! I'm very honored Gary for this mention, adn I'm proud to be not only a fan of yours, but a friend in pen as well!!!Hiya Ronyae, of course you made the list, and well deserved at that!!!! It was my honor to put you on there, because that is what I like to be a fan of, all of the folks on my fan list write with a passion that is unique to each author. I love SearchWarp, and the versatle folks we have writting on here...from all walks of life....and I am honored your on my list.....I will be updating this list from time to time, adding everyones new articles, and it is something I really enjoyed doing...Thanks again for commenting....Your pal and friend in pen......Gary.
Gary, I am glad you did not say anything here about my "great writing skills". I am not realy a writer and I sometimes feel a little intimidated by all the writing talent out here...:-). I submit my articles to other sites, I am a business person afterall, and I write to share what I know and have learned (even though I don't like writing very much), but Searchwarp is where I call "home" because of the great people here. I’ll take the "African connection" and dear friend any time especially coming from you!I very much appreciate the mention, and honored not only to be your fan and pal but to have you as mine. You might want to make a little correction there on “her husband”, I am not “married” -- I’ll get married when Oprah does it! :-)Oops about the husband Christine...my mistake and I will edit that out...sorry bout that, (boy am I embarrassed) but I love your articles and your kind comments, and I do consider you my Aftican Connection, and a good one too!!!! I love being a fan of yours, and reading your work...for not likeing to write, you sure do it well!!! Thanks for the comment and correction...I will correct it when I get home..and thanks for letting me know.....you pal, and fan, and friend in pen.......GaryNo need to be embarrassed, Gary. Technically and in every sense, you would be right to use the word. The reason we don’t use it is that it’s an English word which in my native language has no equivalent -- and therefore no meaning to us. “My man” and “my woman” is more authentic to who we are.
Gary! I am so honored to be on your list!! You know I am a huge fan of yours as well!!! Thanks for the uplift!!A uplift you deserve but do not need, you are a uplift to us all.....I love your articles, and you are so true to life. I never get tired reading your work, and love all that you do....keep writing so I can keep laughing.....and thanks for commenting....your pal and friend in pen......Gary
