Okay, I want to know who the culprit is that put me in for all of these Internet advertisements? Are you menaced by these ads? Are they like having a plague on your computer? Who do I talk to that wants to enhance my career in 1 Minute? Who do I talk to that wants me to make $24,000.00 in 24 hrs? Who do I talk to, who wants to loan me money from a Christian Bank, praise be to Jesus!! I'm not really sure how this all starts, but suddenly I am a melting pot for Internet Advertisements!!
I was just wondering if there is a almighty being out there that I can write to, where I can " Click Here", to remove my name from every list on the Internet? Am I the only one who realizes that you cannot make $24,000.00 a day in these current hard times? Who is this guy kidding? I received one that said, and I quote "Make money from home, become a writer for Big Online Companies, creating Blogs, writing articles, and get paid up to $25.00 to $75.00 per article, and $150.00 for short stories"! Where are these companies? Why don't THEY solicit for this? Why is it always some guy that wants to charge you $45.00 for a list of these companies....humm....lets do the math, if he signs up 8 people a day, for this "list", he makes $360.00 a day, for a list that he compiles, just shopping around the Internet, finding big corporations that have a "Contact Us" feature on it, and lines them up on a list with a url leading you to this "Contact Us" button....he has no idea if this is what they are looking for at all!!
This is the day of the scam artist. They are out to make a quick buck, of course, at your expense. How about these places that say they have jobs lined up for you, some are legit, like Career Job Finders, and other such agencies, but lately, I have been getting solicited from private people with a company name attached to their site, I even found one locally that I went down to to give them my resume', and they have a "hole in the wall" office, with about 3 human resource people, clad in jeans, dumpy blouses, and t-shirts, and you set behind this old desk that was made in the Jurassic period, that wobbles, while the "interview" you, and of course, they say, "We will send your resume out right away, because we have some employers "Just looking for your skill".
Well, in all actuality, they may have a list of companies, but they solicit these companies Human Resources depts, asking if they would like to use their services, as they have a line-up of professionals ready to go to work! Well, these companies have a human resource staff of their own, why wouldl they need these people? It's all a waste of time, and by the way, I never have heard back from them one way or the other.....So, If anyone knows how to get away from these ads.....let this poor writer know...... Oh, by the way, I just got another one letting me know that I have won $1,500,000.00 in the Great Britian Lottery, that I never signed up for, what do you think? Should I claim it!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Great article! I'm not sure if its email spam or web-based advertising that your being inflicted with (sounds like probably both!), but I do know a few ways to cut it down.If you change your web browser to Firefox and get the Ad Block Plus and NoScript plugins you can pretty much eliminate all web-based advertising (although you can allow it on sites you know and trust, so that they still get their revenue!).Also, downloading and running the free Ad-Aware application can clean a lot of the tracking cookies and other advertising-attracting bits n bobs from your PC.With the above setup, I get pretty much ZERO unwanted advertising through my browser. With regard to email spam, that is trickier to beat unfortunately. I find gmail offers great anti-spam filtering. Most web-based email providers include anti-spam facilities, and if using these it is well worth taking the time to click the "Mark as Spam" button for any unwanted spam email that gets through, as this helps the system learn how to better identify junk. There's also some anti-spam software available if you use an email client like Windows Mail or Outlook, but I'm not very up to date with that.... I haven't needed any since I started using gmail! One important tip is to NEVER respond to any unwanted spam email, as this will show the owner your email address is active, and they will likely sell it on and you'll get even more unwanted spam mails :(
